The FindaDetective directory is designed to help the visitor quickly locate a private investigator.

Our aim

FindaDetective is all about delivering useful information to buyers, both commercial and private, to allow you to make an informed choice about suppliers of private investigation services.

This directory does not have pay-per-click adverts provided by the ppc suppliers. The directory is here to provide value-for-money promotion for its own customers.

Equally, the directory does not have free adverts to make it appear larger than it is.

What you see is what you get. Quality adverts for private investigators.

Our quality promise

FindaDetective will only accept adverts from private investigators that operate within the law.

In response to the Information Commissioner report 'What price privacy?' FindaDetective will not accept adverts from investigators found guilty of Section 55 Data Protection Act offences.

When licensing is introduced in the UK we will only accept adverts from licensed private investigators.

Licensing

The Private Security Industry Act 2001 was the enabling legislation to introduce licensing. The Security Industry Authority is implementing licensing across the private security industry by sector.

Our history

FindaDetective started in March 2002 as a web development business for private investigators.

It worked for well known names in the industry, such as the Association of British Investigators, the Investigators Sector, the Joint Security Industry Council, the World Association of Professional Investigators, Priority Investigations, Academy of Professional Investigations, Antek Security, Apex International, Blayze, Bluemoon Investigations Group, Bluemoon Investigations Franchisees, Excalibur Investigations, Euro-PI, GSS Global, Highfield Investigations, ISC Global, Jigsaw Services, Managing RISC, MC Eden & Associates, Nationwide Investigations Group, Nationwide Investigations Oxford, Pathfinder Investigations, Peter Heims Ltd, Solicitors' Law Services ... designing and developing web sites with high search engine visibility.

2003 the FindaDetective private investigator directory was launched.

Dispute Resolution Service

Please note: Findadetective does not provide a dispute resolution service. If you have a dispute with a private investigator you must take this up with that company. If the company is a member of an Association then contact that Association, as many of them have a dispute resolution service.
