The founder of UK Intelligence Services, Mike Naughton, is an associate member of the Association of British Investigators. He has over 28 years combined experience in Military Intelligence Communications, as a Police Officer serving with North Wales Police Force Special Constabulary, Senior Management, Sales, Marketing and as Company Trainer within the Private Sector.

Detecting Deceit
(Polygraph Type Investigations)
Whilst making a verbal statement, although our mouths don’t seem to have a problem with lying, our brains do struggle and will subconsciously try to tell the truth. Examples are to place genuine memory recalls (the truth) and memories created (lies) retrospectively into past (what actually happened) and present tense (what the subject is inventing at the time of interview). They may attempt to share guilt by using the word “we” as apposed to “I”. These are just two of the many observations that will be detected during statement analysis to detect deceit.
At UK Intelligence Services we offer two types of ‘Polygraph’ services. We offer an alternative to the traditional Polygraph Instruments detection of deceit.
- Firstly, we offer Linguistic Analysis, this method analyses the precise chosen words of the subject who makes the statement to detect elements of possible deceit.
- Secondly, we offer a combination of Linguistic Analysis and Body Language Analysis, this entails analysing both the words of the subject and the body language displayed whilst replying to specific set questions during the interview process.
