Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters

The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters is a members’ institute and not a trade body. Originally founded in 1941 the Institute was granted a Royal Charter in 1961. This, together with the Code of Professional Conduct enables the Institute to exercise control over the professional standards and conduct of its members. |

Joint Security Industry Council

The Joint Security Industry Council (JSIC) is the umbrella organisation for a broad group of security associations, inspectorates and organisations. JSIC helps coordinate representations from the industry in discussions with Government and the police on security industry matters, and in turn helps in the process of distributing information from these discussions and other sources back to the industry. |
Security Institute

The Security Institute provides a programme that addresses the issue of professional validation for security professionals. The programme is designed to assess security management experience, academic qualifications, vocational qualifications and contributions to the security profession. It establishes an independent professional validation board, which will validate applications made by individuals seeking to attain a grading in the Security Institute. |
